Venture Forth with Ken and Lee

After visiting Rebecca and Cathy, we moved on to visit Ken’s son Jeff in Las Vegas. We arrived just as escrow was closing on his new home, so we got to see it before he moved in. Among the friends he introduced us to were the members of his Harley Davidson motorcycle club. We were happy to be included in their monthly club dinner. This was the first motorcycle club event that either of us has ever attended.

While in the area we visited Boulder Dam, drove through the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, and visited the impressive rocky scenery Valley of Fire State Park.

Our first stop in our full-time RVing lifestyle was Victorville, California. We visited Ken’s daughter Rebecca and granddaughter Cathy, who live nearby. The sunrises were impressive. Canadian geese were among the birds that visited us every day.
